How we're different

We are not your typical professional services firm. At Pinwheel, we offer "Big Four" world-class expertise like the big corporate consulting firms but in a kinder, more authentic, and more affordable package.

Our founder, Natascha Schijven, left a Partner position at Deloitte because she wanted to do business differently. She had a vision of making world-class business transformation expertise available to anyone who needed it, rather than just who could afford it.  As a globally recognized expert in cost transformation and high-quality turn-around solutions, Natascha has seen under-the-hood of many Global and Fortune 500 companies and forged relationships with some of the world's top CEO's but her passion has always been helping the underdog. 

At Pinwheel, we put the human being first, and leave the company's agenda at the door.  We genuinely care about you, and we get excited when you succeed. Every one of our clients has been a success story, and many have become friends along the way. We want to work together, in a collaborative and genuine way to share our wealth of experience and insights to help you achieve your goals. A small business on the verge of bankruptcy is in a very different situation than a flourishing company looking to diversify and generate cash to fund the next leg in the owners' dream. With so many variables to consider, it has never seemed right to us to have a fixed pricing model. We want to be a part of your journey, and we'll figure out compensation that makes sense.

We have proven thought-leading expertise in soft skill building, executive coaching and providing interactive training solutions that stick. In other words, the skills required for leaders to sustainably manage transformations (change management, communications, expectations management). Pinwheel also has broad expertise to help with strategic top-line growth challenges, core business optimization and corporate strategy. We don't think you need to be wearing a suit to be an expert. Our founder Natascha has said, "I am a pretty basic person. I grew up in a blue-collar family in The Netherlands. We didn't have much and my folks had to work multiple jobs to make ends meet. I was the first in my family to go to university, work all around the world and make my way up to corporate executive level. I am very thankful to have been given the opportunity to do this. I always felt it was important to stay true to myself as I ascended the ranks and do what I authentically believed was right for my clients even if it was not right for me.” At Pinwheel this is one of our core values, authenticity. We truly believe everyone should have access to high-quality solutions and expertise that will allow them to reach their full potential, whether you’re big or small, beginner or leading.  That’s why we want to play our part in levelling the playing field - why should the little guy not have access to high-quality Big Four services?  After all, everyone starts out small. That’s why our business model has been designed around working with clients of all sizes. We are a small and nimble firm with limited overhead which gives us the advantage of agility and the ability to optimize. We can quickly scale up for Global 500 support through our partnerships with large professional services firms while at the same time being able to provide pointed, focused, ad-hoc support for small and medium-sized businesses. 


Pinwheel's unique pricing model means our services can be affordable for everybody. Sometimes it's the smallest companies that are doing the most good but cannot afford the expertise which would be beneficial and allow them to continue their great work. We want to contribute and give back however we can. Whether through a deferred payment structure or a shared savings agreement, if we believe in a combined avenue for success (which is not always measured in dollars), we'll make it work.
